Sean O'Malley has fired back at Conor McGregor over his brutal post on social media slamming the UFC champion.
McGregor held nothing back as he ruthlessly destroyed Ryan Garcia for testing positive for the banned substance ostarine following his win over Devin Haney last month.
O'Malley unexpectedly found himself in the crosshairs of the Irishman's social media rant as he referenced the UFC bantamweight champion's potential violation. He maintained his innocence as USADA - UFC's former anti-doping agency - ultimately deemed the levels of ostarine in his system were consistent with taking a contaminated supplement that was out of his control.
But that didn't stop the 'Notorious' from dragging O'Malley's name into the mix when taking aim at Garcia, who outpointed Haney in their Brooklyn clash.

Speaking on his podcast, O'Malley hit back at McGregor but admitted he was more 'sad' than 'mad'.
He exclaimed: "F**k Conor. I've seen a lot of people being like, 'Damn, I bet Suga’s sad. Suga always talks nothing but great about Conor and he’s his f**king idol'.
"He just went on a little tweet rant, f**king booger sugar’d up talking shit. 'I thought you was out for a spar'.
"I was more sad than mad."
The 29-year-old, who has spoken highly of McGregor in the past, added: “Now I cannot wait to see Michael Chandler absolutely just sleep him.

"I’m turning up. I’m changing up real quick, f***k Conor. When your idols turn to rivals.
“He obviously was on some good amount of fun stuff. I think the tweet got deleted pretty quick, but is what it is. I cried for a little bit, I’m over it."
McGregor, who hasn't fought since July 2021, returns to action at UFC 303 when he faces Michael Chandler.
O'Malley is now rooting for Chandler following McGregor's outburst.

'Suga', meanwhile, hasn't fought since his dominant victory over Marlon Vera last March. He's set to defend his 135lbs title against Merab Dvalishvili.
