The Undertaker Announces Entry In The 2017 Royal Rumble

The 2017 Royal Rumble is just around the corner and it's already stacked with big names.

Big guns Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were the first two names to confirm their place in the 30-man match, followed by all three members of The New Day, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin and Seth Rollins all announcing their entry in the classic match.

And it got even more interesting last night when WWE legend The Undertaker announced his entry in the Royal Rumble and outlined his intentions to main event another Wrestlemania - which was his yard until his 21-match winning streak at the pay-per-view came to an end in dramatic fashion at the hands of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30.

On last night's edition of Monday Night Raw, the infamous bong hit, the eerie organ-filled music followed, the arena went dark and the Deadman hit the ring while General Manager Mick Foley and commissioner Stephanie McMahon were present.

In New Orleans, the same place where his precious Wrestlemania streak ended, Taker put himself in the big Royal Rumble match at the Alamodome in Texas and said that he has already "dug 29 holes for 29 souls" in a chilling promo.

Now 51 and with the effects of a long and storied career taking the toll on his body, Undertaker was seen on crutches a few months back - potentially ruling out a Wrestlemania appearance.

But he looked fit and healthy when he met with Cleveland Cavaliers players in full attire back in October and then appeared on WWE for the first time since Wrestlemania 32 when he interrupted Team Smackdown ahead of their Survivor Series showdown with Team Raw.

And now he is vying to win the Royal Rumble 10 years on from winning the very same match in his home state of Texas.

Could history repeat itself and see The Phenom compete in his fourth Wrestlemania main event for the WWE Universal Championship Or WWE Championship?
