Convey to tell rivals exactly what he means at Lingfield

1:40: Lingfield - War Glory 11/2 Each Way and Hakam 7/1 Each Way.

War Glory was a respectable second at Lingfield on his first run since September last week and whilst this is a quick turnaround, he rallied again after being passed that day and only went down by a head. He has one of the best apprentice's in the country on him today and he looks to have a good chance in this ultra-competitive event.

Hakam also ran again quickly after landing a few bets when winning at Kempton earlier this month. He was game that day to hold on by a nose and the return to seven furlongs should not pose a problem here. He has excellent ride Ali Rawlinson on and he represents some each way value.

2:10: Lingfield - Natural Scenery 5/1 Each Way.

I can't get away from Saeed bin Suroor's charge here who was very impressive at Newcastle last time. Always in the van, he put the race to bed in good style under Josephine Gordon that day and if in the right place turning for home, he looks to hold a potent turn of foot which should see him be thereabouts at the finish.

2:40: Lingfield - Muffri'Ha 6/4 NAP.

Has been running very well in defeat at Meydan which included an excellent run in the G1 Jebel Hatta on her latest start. Provided that hasn't taken too much out of her, the daughter of Iffraaj has the best form in the book judged on those runs and looks hard to beat.

3:10: Lingfield - Kimberella 7/2 and Verne Castle 40/1 Each Way.

I'm a huge fan of Kimberella and the switch from Dandy Nicholls to Richard Fahey seemed to do him no harm as he made a winning reappearance at this track in March. I think he is probably better suited to six furlongs which makes today's race a real bonus and I fell that he has to go close in what looks a great renewal of this event.

Verne Castle was pretty disappointing at this track last time after racking up some decent performances this term. He shouldn't really be winning this but he might be able to cope with the six furlong trip here and he does remain a progressive sprinter.

3:40: Lingfield - Ennaadd 6/4 and My Target 8/1 Each Way.

Looks an exciting prospect based on his four consecutive wins, which culminated with an impressive success at Kempton in November. He pulled two and a half-lengths clear of his rivals that day and he looks to have a great chance in this event. The four-year-old son of King's Best is entered in the G1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury next month and if he is to have any chance in that event, he has to win here.

My Target loves this place and whilst this is another step up in class, he didn't really get the run of the race at Wolverhampton last time as he was hampered and then could never land a blow. Returning to Lingfield is a massive plus and given the form he is in, he warrants an each way play.

4:10: Lingfield - Second Thought 6/4 and Dubai One 5/1 Each Way.

Difficult to see past Second Thought here who has been impressive in three starts on the All Weather, winning all of them. At this track last time I was impressed with the three-year-old's turn of foot in the closing stages as he looked to have it all to do entering the home straight. This son of Kodiac looks to be on the upgrade and he takes all the beating here. For each way purposes,

Dubai One is interesting as she has Ryan Moore in the plate and has won her last three races. The three-year-old daughter of Exceed And Excel has never raced at Lingfield but won on the Polytrack at Kempton in September 2016 and she looks to be improving with her racing.

4:40: Lingfield - Convey 7/4.

Impressive winner of the Winter Derby last time and he looks to have been done wonders by a gelding operation. He is unbeaten on the All Weather and can win again in what looks a really good event.

6/1 Win Double

2:40: Lingfield - Muffri'Ha

4:40: Lingfield - Convey
