We take a look at the best tips for the weekend's Premier League action...

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm, Sky Sports 1)

To say Jurgen Klopp's men have had an indifferent start to the season would be an understatement.

Liverpool opened their Premier League campaign with a magnificent 4-3 away win to Arsenal but were immediately brought back down to Earth the following week in a 2-0 defeat to newly promoted Burnley. A midweek 5-0 hammering of Championship side Burton will have gone some way in restoring any confidence lost last weekend.

Spurs, on the other hand, have made a decent enough start to the season. They opened with a draw away to Everton and followed it with a win over Crystal Palace. Not much separated these two sides last season with both encounters ending in draws. One thing that looks nailed on this time around though is goals.

Liverpool games have already seen 14 goals in their three games this season and their meeting with Spurs looks a decent bet to follow suit.

Recommended bet: Over 2.5 goals - 31/40

Chelsea v Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley undoubtedly caused the upset of last weekend when they toppled Liverpool but it's unlikely they'll make it two upsets in a row when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have only lost at home once in the league this year and have won all three of their competitive matches so far this season, albeit not as comfortably as Antonio Conte would have liked. All three games also went over 2.5 goals.

Burnley certainly won't roll over on Saturday afternoon (as Liverpool fans can attest) but Chelsea should do enough to take all three points.

Recommended bet: Chelsea win and over 2.5 - 5/6

Crystal Palace v AFC Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

With both teams losing their opening two games of the Premier League campaign, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth will both be fired up to get their first three points of the season.

Despite Bournemouth's 3-1 defeat against Manchester United in their first game of the season, three of the four defeats suffered by the Cherries and Palace so far have been drab 1-0 affairs. Expect a cagey affair in this one with both teams desperate to avoid a third defeat of the season.

Recommended bet: Under 2.5 goals - 7/10

Everton v Stoke City (Saturday, 3pm)

There's a real buzz around Goodison Park this season with Ronald Koeman's side expected to fair a lot better this season than they have in their previous couple of campaigns. They've started comfortably enough taking four points from six and look a decent bet to overcome a stuttering Stoke side.

Stoke haven't had the best start to their season. They opened with an underwhelming 1-1 draw against Premier League new boys Middlesbrough before being emphatically beaten 4-1 at home by Manchester City.

Recommended bet: Everton WIN - 8/11

Leicester City v Swansea City (Saturday, 3pm)

The Premier League champions we're brought back down to Earth with a thud when they were toppled by Hull in their first game of the new season but the Foxes showed glimpses of their old selves in a 0-0 draw with Arsenal that they can consider themselves unlucky not to have won.

Swansea kicked off their season with three points before they themselves were beaten by surprise-package Hull in their second game.

Leicester have had the upper hand over The Swans in recent meetings and have beaten them to nil in their last three encounters.

Recommended bet: Leicester to win to nil - 7/4

Southampton v Sunderland (Saturday, 3pm)

Southampton haven't had the best start to the season after a frustrating 1-1 draw with Watford was followed by a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United last Friday.

David Moyes' Sunderland have been even worse and defeats to Man City and local rivals Boro will have immediately raised questions over the Black Cat's new manager.

Sunderland biggest concern will be their defence and they already look far too easy to score against. We're backing the Saints to get their first win of the season.

Recommended bet: Southampton WIN - 8/13

Watford v Arsenal (Saturday, 3pm)

The Arsenal fans are already at Wenger's throat and given their start to the season and the Frenchman's reluctance in the transfer market (though the signing of Mustafi is an excellent one), some of their criticism is warranted.

Arsenal need to win this weekend or they could find themselves at risk of falling behind their fellow title contenders so soon in the season.

They should get it against a Watford side who've yet to win a competitive game this season. They recently crashed out of the EFL Cup at the hands of League One's Gillingham.

Recommended bet: Arsenal WIN - 7/10

Hull City v Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm, BT Sport 1)

The Red Devils have made a phenomenal start under new manager Jose Mourinho and look to be real contenders this time around, especially if the outspoken Swede, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, can carry on his current goal scoring form.

Hull were written off before they'd even kicked a ball this season but they've certainly proven the naysayers wrong so far and have already recorded wins over reigning champions Leicester and Swansea. Despite a fantastic start to their campaign you have to feel it's a matter of time before their extremely thin squad is exposed.

There's not much value in backing the United win at 9/20 but I do fancy Ibrahimovic to add to his tally.

Recommended bet: Ibrahimovic to score any time - 19/20

West Brom v Middlesbrough (Sunday, 1.30pm, Sky Sports 1)

Boro will be looking to build on a great start to the season against West Brom on Sunday. Aitor Karanka's men will be full of confidence travelling to the Hawthorns having picked up four points from six since their promotion, including an all important three points from local rivals Sunderland last weekend.

West Brom haven't had the best start having picked up just a point so far and it's worth considering how dreadful Tony Pulis' side are at home in the league. The Baggies haven't won there since the start of March.

Recommended bet: Double chance, Middlesbrough/draw - 40/85

Manchester City v West Ham (Sunday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1)

Man City have made a great start under Pep Guardiola having won all four of their competitive matches so far and scoring 12 in the process. Sergio Aguero in particular has started the season firing on all cylinders.

West Ham picked up their first three points of the season last week in a hard fought 1-0 win over Bournemouth. It's not been plain sailing for The Hammers so far though and being knocked out of the Europa League so early on against Romanian side Astra Giurgio for the second season running will have seriously knocked their confidence.

West Ham will undoubtedly pick up plenty of points between now and May under the guidance of the criminally underrated Slaven Billic but I can only see a home win in this encounter.

Recommended bet: Man City win & over 2.5 goals - 7/10
