TheODDSbible's Premier League Preview

Here are our picks for each of the weekend's Premier League games.

Bournemouth v Sunderland

Last Saturday saw both of these teams lose and it was Bournemouth's first loss in 5 Premier League games. It is questionable how Middlesbrough kept a clean sheet against them but that is the EPL for you! Sunderland similarly walked away with 0 points from their game, after a comprehensive 4-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Sunderland's standard of football has just not been good enough recently and Bournemouth will feel confident they can leave this game with the 3 points. Sunderland sit on 2 points, still without a win after 10 games. Last year Bournemouth won this fixture 2-0, but if Sunderland want any chance of staying in the EPL next season they'll need some points ASAP.

Suggested bet: Bournemouth win 4/6

Burnley v Crystal Palace

Both teams have had mixed results during the start of the season, so the full time result of this fixture could be hard to call. Crystal Palace are favourites, however Burnley have won 3 of their home games this season, against decent opponents.

The strongest bet I can find is both teams to score. Burnley have been stronger at home than away, and both teams have scored in 4 out of 5 of Crystal Palace's away games. This will most likely be a close result, a 1-1 draw at 13/2 could be a good call.

Suggested bet: Both teams to score 9/10

Man City v Middlesbrough

Man City seem to be finding some form again, and their performance against Barcelona midweek was outstanding. Gundogan and De Bruyne are in great form and the Blues will hope to carry their form on in the EPL. Their last fixture saw them beat West Brom 4-0 away from home.

They come up against Middlesbrough who have drawn 3/5 of their away games. They have struggled to score away from home and I think they will continue this struggle against a high-flying Manchester City side.

Suggested bet: Man City -1 Alternative Handicap 4/7

West Ham v Stoke

West Ham are still struggling in 17th place and come up against a Stoke side who had a terrible start to the season, but have managed to climb up the table after not losing in their last 5 EPL fixtures.

West Ham haven't beaten Stoke since March 2013 so The Potters will be confident they can walk away with at least a point from this game. Wilfried Bony is in goal scoring form and this could be another tough fixture for The Hammers. Stoke have only conceded 1 in their last 3 EPL fixtures and look like they could stay up after all.

Suggested bet: Stoke draw no bet 7/4

Chelsea v Everton

Antonio Conte seems to have worked his magic with Chelsea, who look like a completely different side to last year. In their last 4 EPL fixtures, The Blues have scored 11 goals and conceded 0 - an outstanding run of form. They face an Everton side who have only won 1 of their last 5, losing to Burnley and Bournemouth within those games.

Chelsea should win this fixture, they are playing brilliantly and Everton have had a recent drop in form. The Blues have scored at least 2 in their last 4 games, and Everton conceded 2 to Burnley in their last trip away from home.

Suggested bet: Over 1.5 Chelsea goals 4/7

Arsenal v Tottenham

The North London Derby is here and normally there are goals in this fixture. The last 5 meetings between these teams has had both teams score, and Tottenham's hopes of winning will be boosted by the inclusion of Harry Kane in their squad for Sunday.

Lamela and Dembele are doubts and Spurs are still without Alderwield. Cazorla, Monreal, Gibbs, Walcott, and Bellerin all face late fitness tests for The Gunners. This could be a great game, with emotions running high and pride being at stake we are hoping for goals. Arsenal have won their last 7/8 EPL fixtures and Tottenham have drawn their last 3. A 2-1 Arsenal win could be on the cards.

Suggested bet: Over 2.5 match goals and BTTS 1/1

Arsenal

Hull v Southampton

Hull are not having a great time in the Premier League, having lost their last 6 games. They sit in 18th position and are facing Southampton who have only lost 1 of their last 6. Hull have only scored 1 goal in their last 4 home games and I think they will struggle against The Saints.

Southampton have only lost to tough opposition and seem to be picking points up from the teams they should be beating. They will see this game as one they need to get 3 points from and won't travel all that way with the mentality to lose. Hull's last home game saw them lost 2-0 to Stoke, so Southampton shouldn't have a problem beating The Tigers.

Suggested bet: Southampton win 7/10

Liverpool v Watford

Liverpool are unbeaten in the league apart, from that loss against Burnley, (it still baffles me how that happened) and are playing the best football I've seen them play in years. However, The Reds have conceded in 9/10 of those games. They still tend to win by a high margin but always seem to concede.

Watford have scraped points from low margin wins and are sitting in 7th position. They will hope they can replicate their 3-0 victory over the Reds that happened last season. Liverpool concede a lot and Watford will have to focus on their defence, as players like Coutinho, Firmino and Mane are playing outstanding football.

Suggested bet: Liverpool win and BTTS 15/8

Swansea v Man United

Both of these teams are not performing very well recently. Swansea have lost 7/10 of their games and haven't won at home all season. Man United have drawn their last 3/4 and lost the other game, so Jose Mourinho will be feeling the pressure to get a win especially after their midweek loss to Fenerbache.

7/8 of the last meetings between these sides has seen both teams score, and Man United especially will hope they can stop their goal drought. Although Swansea have lost their last 4/5 games, they have scored in all of those losses. You could back both teams to score at 3/4 or if you are not confident in Man United scoring then Man U no clean sheet is 1/2.

Suggested bet: Man United no clean sheet 1/2

Leicester v West Brom

Leicester are not looking like the side they were last season, and they currently sit in 11th position with just 12 points from 10 games. However at home they are unbeaten at home this season, winning 3 of those 5.

West Brom have only won once away from home this season but have scored in 4/5. They may struggle to score past The Tigers as the Champions have only conceded 2 goals in their 5 home games. I think Leicester will get the 3 points but only by a small margin. West Brom haven't conceded many in individual away games so a 1-0 win could be on the cards. You can get that at 11/2.

Suggested bet: Leicester win 3/4
